Change my WordPress password in the database

Follow these Cyber Grapes steps to change your WordPress password in the database for WordPress. Keep credentials handy, save your work, and allow time for DNS or publish changes before you retest.

  1. Sign in to Cyber Grapes, open My Products, select your Managed Hosting for WordPress plan, then open the site dashboard.
  2. Open account or mailbox security settings in Managed WordPress dashboard.
  3. Choose Change Password (or Reset), then enter a strong unique password.
  4. Update saved passwords on phones, mail apps, and FTP or SFTP clients that still use the old value.
  5. Save your changes, then verify the result (site load, mailbox login, certificate padlock, or app sync).
Tip: DNS and SSL changes can take from a few minutes up to 48 hours to show everywhere. Test again after propagation before assuming the change failed.
