Add an SPF record

SPF (Sender Policy Framework) is a TXT record that lists which mail servers may send email for your domain. Adding the right SPF helps inbox providers trust your mail.

  1. Sign in and open the domain in your Domain Portfolio.
  2. Select DNS.
  3. Choose Add and pick TXT.
  4. Set the host/name to @ (or the hostname your mail provider specifies).
  5. Paste the SPF value from your email host (it usually starts with v=spf1).
  6. Save. Wait for DNS to propagate before testing mail delivery.
Warning: Most domains should have only one SPF TXT policy at the root. Merge mechanisms into a single record instead of adding a second SPF.

Domain Striker email products often show the exact SPF string to copy during setup.
