Change my domain nameservers
Nameservers tell the internet which DNS provider answers for your domain. Change them when you host DNS at Domain Striker, a website builder, or another DNS host.
- Sign in and open the domain in your Domain Portfolio.
- Open DNS or Nameservers settings.
- Choose Change nameservers (or Edit).
- Select Domain Striker nameservers, or enter custom nameserver hostnames from your DNS provider (usually two or more).
- Save. If Domain Protection is on, complete any identity verification prompt.
Propagation: Updates often appear within an hour but can take up to 48 hours globally. Keep the old DNS records available until the new nameservers answer everywhere.
After switching, manage A, CNAME, MX, and TXT records at the provider that runs those nameservers—not at the previous host.
