Delete my domain
Deleting a domain cancels the registration early when the product UI allows it. This is uncommon compared with simply turning auto-renew off and letting the name expire.
- Sign in and open the domain in your Domain Portfolio.
- Look for Delete / Cancel domain under advanced settings.
- Read the warnings. Deletion may be irreversible and is often non-refundable.
- Complete identity verification if prompted, then confirm.
Warning: After deletion or expiration completes, someone else may register the name. If you might need it later, keep it and disable auto-renew instead.
If Delete is not offered for your TLD, turn auto-renew off and wait for the natural expiration timeline.
