Downgrade or remove Domain Protection
You can lower or remove Domain Protection when you no longer need the stricter change locks. Sensitive actions may still ask for verification during the change.
- Sign in and open the domain’s Domain Protection settings.
- Choose Downgrade or Remove / cancel the protection add-on.
- Complete identity verification if prompted.
- Confirm the new protection level on Domain Settings.
Warning: Removing protection makes unlocks and contact edits easier for anyone who already has account access. Review delegates first.
