What does my domain transfer status mean?

Transfer dashboards use short status labels. Exact wording can vary, but these meanings cover the usual states.

• Pending / Awaiting approval - a person or email confirmation is still required.
• In progress / Submitted to registry - the gaining side is processing with the registry.
• Canceled / Rejected - someone denied the request or it expired unused.
• Complete - the domain now belongs to the gaining account or registrar.
• Locked / Not eligible - clientTransferProhibited, recent registration window, or unpaid debts are blocking the move.
