Increase the WordPress memory limit
Follow these Cyber Grapes steps to increase the WordPress memory limit for WordPress. Keep credentials handy, save your work, and allow time for DNS or publish changes before you retest.
- Back up wp-config.php first.
- Open File Manager or SFTP and edit wp-config.php in the WordPress root.
- Add
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');above the "That's all, stop editing!" line (adjust if your host documents a different cap). - Save, clear caches, and reload wp-admin.
