Import MySQL database with SSH
Follow these Cyber Grapes steps to import MySQL database with SSH for WordPress. Keep credentials handy, save your work, and allow time for DNS or publish changes before you retest.
- Sign in to Cyber Grapes, open My Products, select the hosting plan that holds your WordPress site, then open WordPress or visit yoursite.com/wp-admin.
- Use the VPS console or SSH with your admin credentials.
- Run only the configuration steps required for mysql database with ssh. Snapshot or back up first if the change is destructive.
- Confirm services restart cleanly (web, database, or mail) after the change.
- Save your changes, then verify the result (site load, mailbox login, certificate padlock, or app sync).
Tip: DNS and SSL changes can take from a few minutes up to 48 hours to show everywhere. Test again after propagation before assuming the change failed.
