Import SQL files into a MySQL database
Follow these Cyber Grapes steps to import SQL files into a MySQL database for Web Hosting (cPanel). Keep credentials handy, save your work, and allow time for DNS or publish changes before you retest.
- Sign in to Cyber Grapes, open My Products, select your Web Hosting plan, then choose cPanel Admin (or Manage).
- In cPanel, open MySQL Databases, phpMyAdmin, or the database tool for your plan.
- Create, import, or export as required for sql files into a mysql database. Keep a downloadable backup first.
- Update wp-config.php or app connection strings if the database name, user, or host changed.
- Save your changes, then verify the result (site load, mailbox login, certificate padlock, or app sync).
Tip: DNS and SSL changes can take from a few minutes up to 48 hours to show everywhere. Test again after propagation before assuming the change failed.
