Enable or disable 2-step verification for your Cyber Grapes account
2-step verification (2SV) adds a second check after your password, such as an authenticator app code, SMS, or security key.
Turn 2SV on
- Sign in and open account security settings.
- Select 2-Step Verification / Enable.
- Choose a primary method (authenticator app is a strong default).
- Follow the prompts to register the method and confirm with a test code.
- Save backup methods (second phone, backup codes, or a security key) before you leave the page.
Turn 2SV off
- Return to the same security settings.
- Choose Disable and complete the current verification challenge.
- Confirm. Your account will rely on the password alone until you enable 2SV again.
Note: Domains with Domain Protection may still require one-time passwords for high-risk domain changes even when account 2SV is off.
