Add a subdomain

A subdomain is a prefix on your domain (blog.example.com, shop.example.com). You create one by adding a DNS record for that host.

  1. Sign in and open the domain’s DNS settings.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Choose the record type your destination needs (A for an IP, CNAME for a hostname target).
  4. In the host field, enter only the subdomain label (for example blog), not the full domain.
  5. Enter the IP or target, save, and wait for DNS to update.
Tip: Forwarding can also send a subdomain to another URL. See Forward my Domain Striker domain.
