Preview your website using hosts files

A hosts-file preview points your computer at the new server IP before public DNS changes.

1. Get the destination IP address from your Cyber Grapes hosting panel.
2. Edit your OS hosts file and map the domain (and www) to that IP.
3. Flush DNS cache, then open the site in a browser to review content.
4. Remove the hosts entry after you finish testing so normal DNS resumes.
