Keep your name, site, and email when you change brokerages

When your domain, Website Builder site, and Professional Email live in your Cyber Grapes account, they stay with you when you change brokerages. You are not starting over on a brand that sat under someone else's login.

Make sure you own the pieces

1. Domain in your portfolio. Register or transfer the name into your account. See How do I register a domain with Cyber Grapes? and Transfer my domain to Cyber Grapes.
2. Email on that domain. Keep Professional Email on the same domain so [email protected] keeps working. Setup: Set up Professional Email powered by Titan.
3. Site connection you control. Either connect Website Builder to your domain (Connect my Website Builder site to a domain) or point/forward the domain at the brokerage or IDX URL you will use next (Point your domain at your brokerage or IDX website).

When you switch brokerages

• Update the destination, not the printed name. Change forwarding or DNS so yourname.com opens the new brokerage or IDX page. Printed signs and cards can keep the same short URL. Forwarding steps: Forward my Cyber Grapes domain.
• Keep auto-renew on so the registration does not lapse during the move: Turn my domain auto-renew on or off.
• Keep account contacts current (registrant email and recovery phone) so renewals and support reach you: Edit my domain contact info.
• Moving a domain between two Cyber Grapes accounts (for example from a team account to your personal account) is an account transfer, not an external registrar transfer: Transfer my domain to another Cyber Grapes account.
